TorcUP TU torque wrench

The TU is a reliable workhorse: a hydraulic square drive torque wrench for impact sockets, built for heavy and demanding applications. Accuracy is ±3%. Choose the TU when the job has to be right first time.

The drive plate, segment and ratchet are the parts that wear most in a hydraulic wrench. In the TU, precisely these parts are made of VASCOMAX®, a steel that is 30% stronger and 15% harder. This makes the wrench last longer, even with intensive use.

Patented mono-body housing

Only from TorcUP: the housing of the TU is machined from a single block.

Two independent swivels

The hose connections swivel independently 360° × 360°, so the hoses stay clear of all reaction points.

Push-through square drive

Switch from loosening to tightening by pushing the square drive through, without dismantling it.

Steel reaction foot

Protects the main reaction point of the arm; replaceable in the field.

Engraved torque chart

The torque chart is engraved in the wrench, so you always have it to hand.

Reaction arm release button

The release button is built into the arm as a safety feature, so the arm cannot come loose accidentally.

Multi-tooth drive segment

Provides 27° of rotation with every full stroke.

Drip-free quick couplers

Safety couplers with a 3:1 safety factor, easy to connect; the collar locks the coupler.

Accessories

TU direct hex adapter

Replace the square drive of your TU wrench with this hex adapter to tighten socket head bolts.

TU end cap protector

Protects the end cap when you use the tool without a reaction arm.

TU extended reaction tube

Use instead of the standard reaction arm when the reaction point is further from the nut.

TU housing reaction surface

Provides a flat bearing surface when you react directly off the tool housing.

TU solid square drive

A non-push-through version of the square drive for tightening and loosening.

TU reaction arm extension shoe

Available for most models in 1", 2" or 3" (approx. 25, 50 or 75 mm); adds extra reaction length at the foot of the standard reaction arm.

TU solid long reaction arm

For the TU-2, TU-3, TU-7 and TU-11: this solid reaction arm is 6" (approx. 150 mm) longer than the standard arm, for a reaction point further away.

TU wide reaction arm

If the reaction point does not fall firmly in the middle of the standard arm, this arm provides a wider reaction surface. Optionally fitted at the factory; only for the TU-2 and TU-3.

TU handle

Ergonomic handle for safe operation and positioning, with hands clear of the reaction points.
