The Sygma™ Alpha-I 4-30 is an exceptionally versatile flange facing machine with the S-Gear™ system. Thanks to the triple clamping, with a collet and two clamping feet, you clamp it in bores from Ø 99.5 to 756 mm. It machines flanges from Ø 100 to 780 mm (4 to 30 inch).
Like all machines in the Alpha series, the Alpha-I 4-30 is available with different, interchangeable drives. Thanks to the modular design you can also quickly and easily convert an Alpha-I for orbital milling, with the Legacy milling unit.
Does the standard version not meet your requirements, or would you like to rent the machine for one job? Contact us; we will be happy to discuss the possibilities.
Features
Quick to set up, easy to operate
Plug & play: the machine is quickly mounted on the flange and can be operated without extensive instruction.
Three ways of clamping
A collet and two clamping feet: this lets one machine fit a large range of bores.
S-Gear™ gearbox
Five preset axial feeds; between those settings you can adjust the feed if a different finish is needed. The tool moves in both directions (feed in and feed out).
Automatic toolpost (optional)
The tool feeds automatically, for an even result without manual work.
Variable feed with presetting
Preset the feed and adjust it during work.
Multiple surface finishes
From a spiral groove (stock finish) to a smooth finish: you choose the finish that suits the gasket.
Adaptable to your application
Doesn't the standard configuration suit your job? Sygma supplies options and custom solutions; we are happy to think along.
