Alpha series

Rugged, accurate and multifunctional flange facing machines for on-site work.

The Sygma™ Alpha series machines flanges where they are: in the plant, on the platform or in the workshop. You use them for gasket faces, RTJ grooves, seal grooves, weld preparation and repairing heat exchanger gasket faces.

There are two lines. The Alpha-I clamps internally in the flange bore, from 1 to 164 inch. The Alpha-E clamps on the outside and so also machines flanges without a usable bore. All machines are available to buy and to rent.

Thanks to the modular design you can quickly convert an Alpha-I for orbital milling, with the Legacy milling unit. For wind energy Sygma also offers the Alpha-OM: an orbital milling machine for the flanges of monopiles and transition pieces (on request).
