SKF TWIM 15 portable induction heater

The SKF TWIM 15 is a portable, rugged induction heater for safely heating bearings for hot mounting. It is designed primarily for use in the field, but is just as suitable for the workbench. You lay the bearing flat on the heating plate: no yokes are needed. The TWIM 15 recognises the bearing size and adapts the heating accordingly.

Features

No yokes needed

Thanks to the flat heating plate, a support yoke is not needed. This lets you heat more types of components with fewer accessories.

Innovative bearing heating

Smart design and control software keep the temperature difference between inner and outer ring small. This limits the stress in the bearing.

Portable

Light and compact, with built-in handle: just as easy to use in the field as on the workbench.

Four power settings

From 10 to 100%: you heat sensitive components, such as bearings with seals or shields, gently.

Quiet operation

The medium-frequency technology makes virtually no noise; an LED shows that the heater is working.
