RP Standard pneumatic torque wrench

The Raptor RP has a handle like an impact wrench, but works quite differently: there is no hammering. An air motor with planetary gearbox applies high torque continuously and smoothly. With standard impact sockets you achieve repeatable torque in any application, with an accuracy of ±5%.

The Raptor combines an accurate air motor with a planetary gearbox that can handle more torque than the wrench delivers: there is a safety margin built in. The stated values for speed, torque, weight and noise are the values you get in practice.

Air supply: 10 – 90 psi (0.7 – 6.2 bar), 45 – 55 cfm. The maximum air pressure differs per type.

Accessories

F/R/L unit (filter, regulator, lubricator)

Filters and lubricates the compressed air and regulates the pressure for the required torque. Complete with pressure gauge and 2.4 m air hose, in a welded steel frame for protection and transport.

Long reaction arm

For extra reach, with long (deep-well) impact sockets.

Sliding reaction arm

For reacting from socket to socket; the cap protects the adjacent nut. Adjustable from 10 to 30 cm.

Straight reaction arm

For a reaction point at right angles (90°) to the drive.

Weld blank

Reaction arm of unmachined steel, to make your own custom arm. With spline for the Raptor RP and heat treatment specifications.

Nose extension

Fits directly onto the nose of the wrench, for hard-to-reach bolts; works with the standard reaction arm.

Pinch protection (PASS)

Two-handed operation: one hand on the trigger, the other on the PASS trigger. Release it and the wrench stops immediately.

Positioning handle

Durable, ergonomic handle for left- and right-handed use, positionable vertically and horizontally. Fitted at the factory or on site; fits all Raptor RP models.
