Bearing heaters
SKF induction heaters for hot mounting of bearings: from a few kilograms up to several tonnes.
A heated bearing expands and slides onto the shaft without force. That is faster and safer than pressing, and prevents damage to bearing and shaft. SKF induction heaters heat in a controlled way to the set temperature, and then automatically demagnetise the bearing.
