Shaft alignment tool TKSA 51

The TKSA 51 offers high measuring flexibility and performance, suitable for alignment tasks from entry level to expert. This intuitive tool is designed for use with the SKF shaft alignment apps on a tablet or smartphone. It is easy to use and requires no special training. With the accessories supplied, the TKSA 51 can be used for a wide range of alignment applications with horizontal and vertical shafts, such as motors, drives, fans, pumps, gearboxes and more. The apps include tutorial videos showing operators how to take accurate measurements.

Features

Measuring flexibility

The familiar three-position measurement (9, 12, 3 o'clock) gains extra flexibility: a measurement can start at any angle and a total rotation of only 40 degrees (2 x 20°) is required. This makes measurements possible in installations with limited space.

Automatic reports

Alignment reports are generated automatically and can be customised with notes, a photo of the machine and a signature on the touchscreen. The reports can be exported as PDF files and shared with other mobile apps or via AirPrint.

Comprehensive and compact

A range of included components, such as magnetic mounting brackets, extension rods and chains, make the TKSA 51 more versatile, yet it remains a compact, lightweight and portable system.

3D live view

This function lets you position the measuring set-up on the screen so that it matches the actual machine position in front of you. For fast alignment, horizontal and vertical alignment and corrections are shown live on screen.

Measurement filters

Measured values stay accurate thanks to an adjustable filter that compensates for vibrations or other external disturbances.

Fully functional demo mode

The app is easy to download, and in demo mode you can go through the shaft alignment process and experience how simple the system is before you buy the TKSA 51.

Horizontal shaft alignment

Easy, intuitive alignment of horizontal shafts, with automatic measurement, a minimum total rotation of 40°, 9-12-3 guidance and alignment to target values.

Vertical shaft alignment

Easy, intuitive alignment of machines with vertical shafts, with shimming guidance for different bolt configurations.

Soft foot

Checking and correcting a loose or springy foot (soft foot) before alignment, so the machine sits stably on its foundation.
