What we measure
A selection of the measurements and alignments we carry out on site. Your situation not listed? Get in touch — there is often a solution.

Shaft alignment
Aligning motors, pumps, fans, compressors and complete machine trains with a laser alignment system. A well-aligned machine vibrates less, uses less energy and spares bearings, seals and couplings.

Flatness, squareness, level and straightness
Measuring machine beds, foundations, guideways and frames for flatness, squareness, level and straightness. This gives a machine a correct base, before assembly or when tracing deviations.

Flange flatness and parallelism
Measuring the flatness and parallelism of large flanges, for example of wind turbine towers and tower segments, before assembly or after re-machining.

Centreline and bores
Measuring and aligning centrelines and bores, for example of bearing housings, stern tubes, turbines and compressor parts.

Rolls and rollers
Aligning rolls and rollers parallel to each other and measuring their profile to a thousandth of a millimetre, in paper, printing, film, aluminium and steel production lines.

Runout, concentricity and eccentricity
Measuring runout, concentricity and eccentricity of shafts, rolls and spindles, to detect imbalance, vibration and uneven wear.

Calibration of machine tools
Measuring the positioning accuracy and repeatability of milling machines and lathes with laser interferometry, so that deviations become visible and can be corrected.

Alignment of portable machining equipment
Setting up and aligning portable boring, milling and turning machines accurately, so that on-site machining stays within tolerance.

How it works
Request
Tell us what needs to be measured or aligned: the machine, dimensions, required accuracy and any photos.
Preparation
We choose the right measuring method and equipment and schedule the measurement, for example during a planned shutdown.
Measuring and alignment
Our specialist measures at your location and aligns directly where needed.
Results and advice
You receive the measurement results, with advice on any next steps. If required, we prepare a measurement report (optional, at extra cost).
